Sonny Bill Williams' next boxing fight is reportedly locked in.

South African website sport24.co.za is reporting the All Blacks midfielder and reigning New Zealand heavyweight champion will take on 43-year-old South African Francois Botha in Durban this November.

A local boxing promoter has told media there that a decision on the fight was made on Wednesday.

Botha has a record of 48 wins, 29 of which have come by knockout, seven losses and three draws.

Nicknamed the 'White Buffalo", Botha would be a significant step up for Williams having fought world heavyweight champions including Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis and Wladimir Klitschko.
