Lisa Carrington will tonight line up in the first of what are expected to be two Olympic kayaking finals at Eton Dorney. The reigning K1 200 world champion will pair up with Erin Taylor to contest the K2 500 medal race. Carrington says the K1 200 is at the back of her mind. "It's good, I get to do my K2 races and then I can focus on my K1, so it's almost like getting the nerves out of the way." Carrington's heat in the K1 200 is tomorrow night. "The programme isn't too hectic for me, I just have two events which is good." Also at Eton Dorney tonight, Teneale Hatton will contest the K1 500 B final. |
