US judo fighter was unaware of hash brownie

A judo fighter who tested positive for marijuana claims he was fed a hash brownie by a member of his family.

American Nick Delpopolo says he was given the brownie but had no idea it contained marijuana.

He then slept through a four-hour drive, which he put down to be tired from training and travel.

A family member has written to US Olympic officials to try and claim responsibility, saying it never would have crossed Delpopolo's mind that it was a hash brownie.
