Kayaking pair finish in seventh place

Kayakers Lisa Carrington and Erin Taylor have finished seventh in the final of the Olympic women's K2 500.

The pair made a strong start, but were swiftly left in the wake of the leading crews.

They were sixth at the half way mark, and dropped another place over the second 250 metres, with the German crew claiming the gold medal.

Meanwhile Teneale Hatton's finished seventh in the K1 500 B final.
