Kiwi decathlete maintains position

Kiwi decathlete Brent Newdick's maintained his overnight 16th place through two events in London.

Newdick fell back t0 23rd after his 15.02 in the 110 metre hurdles, but bounced back, throwing 46.15 metres in the discus.

He is currently competing in the pole vault where he's in sixth place, having cleared 4.6 metres.
