Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki has hit back at Martina Navratilova for claiming the Dane never deserved to be top of the tennis rankings.
Wozniacki has also suggested she's lost respect for Navratilova, regarded by many as the greatest woman player ever.
Wozniacki says she would never say Navratilova was number one when there was no-one playing, that would be disrespectful.
Her comment is an echo of Navratilova's remarks at an Australian Open media conference, in which Navratilova said "clearly nobody feels Wozniacki is a true number one."
Wozniacki lost her world number one ranking to Victoria Azarenka three weeks ago.
