Roger Federer and Andy Murray remain on course for a semi final showdown at the Australian Tennis Open after straight sets wins to reach the last eight. Federer has blunted the dangerous Milos Raonic 6-4, 7-6, 6-2 and says he hit top gear. He says he felt good and was moving well and had good anticipation on the return of serve. Murray dropped just seven games against weary Frenchman Giles Simon who struggled after playing a long five setter in the previous round. Serena Williams has stormed into the women's quarter finals, romping past Russian Maria Kirilenko 6-2, 6-love. Williams has dropped just eight games in the tournament. Photo: Getty Images |
