Extra Camper coaching

By: Brenton Vannisselroy | Latest Yachting News | Saturday February 18 2012 17:01

The crew onboard Camper Team New Zealand has received some specialist coaching ahead of the fourth leg of the Volvo Ocean Race.

Team New Zealand boss Grant Dalton says Rod Davis and Joey Allan have been brought in to try and help Camper end Team Telefonica's dominance of the round the world yacht race.

Dalton says they've got to try and get some more points of Telefonica, who haven't been doing that well in the in-port races.

The event resumes tonight with the in-port race in Sanya, before the fourth leg to Auckland starts tomorrow night.

Team Telefonica hold a 15-point lead over Camper.
