Join Daniel McHardy live from Wellington every afternoon from midday to 4pm.
Daniel began life in radio in 1999 with NewstalkZB in Wellington as a local field reporter before stepping up to produce the weekend Scoreboard program. After a stint overseas - where he attempted to play and coach Cricket and Rugby - he returned to front NewstalkZB Wellington’s sports coverage. In the years since Daniel moved into commentary and has shown his versatility to become amongst others, the lead Rugby, Football and Netball commentator in the Capital. He is also a regular fixture in the Radio Sport international cricket commentary team. Over the past few years Daniel has hosted the weekend show Capital Punishment on Radio Sport and the highly rated Power Hour on NewstalkZB. He now hosts Daniel McHardy afternoons from 12pm on Radio Sport
