The Black Caps' international hiatus will come to an end when they face India in Mumbai in late October.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India has confirmed the schedule for a series against New Zealand next month.

It includes three ODI's and three Twenty20's over the space of three weeks.

The Black Caps will have two warm-up matches in Mumbai before opening the ODI series in the same city, followed by matches in Pune and Kanpur.

The Twenty20's will be staged in Delhi, Rajkot and Thiruvananthapuram.

Kane Williamson's men haven't played since their exit from the Champions Trophy in June.
