Kane Williamson has become the second player to be currently ranked inside the top five batsman across all three cricket formats.

The Black Caps captain broke into the Twenty20's top five after the series whitewash against Bangladesh, in which he averaged 72.

He occupies fourth spot in the test rankings, fifth spot in ODI's and fourth in Twenty20s.

India's Virat Kohli is the only other player to achieve the same success, ranked number one in Twenty20s and number two in tests and ODIs.

Meanwhile Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi have achieved career-high bowling rankings.

Santner has gained 26 places and is now ranked 18th, while Sodhi has rocketed 19 places to claim 19th spot.

With Adam Milne now in 17th place, New Zealand has three bowlers inside the top 20.
