Lydia Ko is off to a winning start to the LPGA Tour's Lorena Ochoa Match Play in Mexico.

The world number one has beaten Mexican Ana Menendez 4 and 2 in her opening match to reach the round of 32.

Meanwhile Tim Wilkinson has struggled in the opening round of the latest PGA tour event in North Carolina.

The Kiwi left hander has opened with a three over 75 and is well down the field.
