Tiger Woods carded a four under par 68 to finish at eight under for the tournament in his return to competitive golf.

The American has endured a topsy turvy final round at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, carding a four under par 68.

The former world number one mixed an eagle, with six birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey.

Rickie Fowler won the tournament by four strokes, following a sensational final round in the Bahamas, starting the day five shots off the lead, Fowler reeled off seven straight birdies to open his round.

The American carded a course and tournament record 11 under par 61, to finish 18 under overall.

Overnight leader Charley Hoffman was second.
