Kiwis coach David Kidwell has a new management team.

Former England boss now Warriors assistant Steve McNamara will serve as Kidwell's right hand man, while ex-South Sydney CEO Shane Richardson will be the Kiwis campaign manager.

Richardson was the chief executive of the South Sydney Rabbitohs for 11 years before taking a role with the NRL.

McNamara replaces Justin Morgan and Willie Poching, who served as Kidwell's assistants for last year's Four Nations.

The move comes following a review to identify what was required in order for the Kiwis to win this year's Rugby League World Cup, with the biggest outcome a need for greater leadership.
