Georgia Williams will lead a New Zealand road cycling team to compete in the women's Tour Down Under next week.

The Olympian will head into the Adelaide event with some form, having finished runner up in both the time trial and road race at nationals in Napier recently.

Fellow Rio Olympian and national criterium championship winner Raquel Sheath is also in the squad along with fellow high performance squad member Bryony Botha.

The six-strong team is rounded out by Mikayla Harvey, Georgia Catterick and Madeleine Park.
