The full event schedule has been released, with Team New Zealand to open its campaign against Groupama Team France after the French face the holders in the opening race of the regatta on May 26.
Team New Zealand will then have its rematch against Oracle on May 27.
It looms large for Team New Zealand syndicate boss Grant Dalton.
"It'll feel real when we match up against Oracle on the 27th May next year, and we've been keeping an eye on them pretty closely and they're going well," Dalton said. "They're keeping an eye on us too it'd be fair to say."
They'll meet former skipper Dean Barker and his new Japanese team, and Great Britain's Ben Ainslie Racing on the third day of the Cup qualifiers, before facing Artemis Racing of Sweden on day four.
All six teams will race each other twice in the America's Cup qualifiers, with Oracle then advancing to the Cup match, while the top four remaining syndicates will compete in the challenger playoffs.
Grant Dalton said the schedule is weighted heavily in favour of the Cup holders.
"Recent history [shows] it's certainly heavily biased, and that's nothing more than the sort of people you're dealing with in Oracle trying whatever they can to hold onto it."
