Brodie Retallick has given some of his Chiefs teammates a reminder of what they've been missing as he eyes a return to rugby.

The All Blacks lock's been sidelined for the past six weeks with a wrist injury, but is expected to be fit for the Chiefs' final regular season match against the Rebels.

Chiefs assistant coach Nick White says Retallick was full of running at training today.

"He put a shoulder injury into old mate Sam Cane and blew him off his feet today. It was his first real physical training today, so it was good to see."

Hooker Nathan Harris will sit out Saturday's match against the Crusaders in Suva as part of his All Blacks rest requirements.

Meanwhile, Kieran Read will be available for Crusaders selection after recovering from a shoulder injury.
