Joseph Parker believes his new promoter is probably more focussed on one of his other boxers at the moment.
Parker has recently signed with Eddie Hearn, who also manages British heavyweight Anthony Joshua.
Hearn has today announced Joshua will trigger the re-match clause in his contract with Andy Ruiz Junior, after the Mexican's shock victory at the weekend.
The re-match will likely happen in November or December.
Parker told the Radio Sport Breakfast he's in a re-building phase at the moment, so Hearn's priorities are currently elsewhere.
"I think if we take the right steps and put on the performances that we know we can put on, I think that the priority might change, but at the moment, i think his priority is getting Joshua back to the top."
Parker says Hearn is capable of looking after them both.
"I think he will put us in the right place at the right time so we too can get back to the top and fight the top fighters."
