It has been only a few months since Simon Mannering played his final game with the Warriors.

Mannering is the team's most capped player ever, with 301 games to his name, alongside over 40 Kiwis matches.

Yet the former captain is already looking ahead to the next stage of his life. At 32, he says that his time with the Warriors is only one part of his life.

Mannering joined Martin Devlin to discuss the release of his new book, why he walked away when he did, and where the club is heading.
