The solitary change to the starting 15 is on the left wing where Julian Savea returns at the expense of Waisake Naholo.

The two further changes to the reserves are also in the backs with Lima Sopoaga and George Moala making way for Aaron Cruden and Malakai Fekitoa.

Meanwhile three members of the squad – Sam Cane, Augustine Pulu and Waisake Naholo – have been released to play for their provinces in this weekend’s Mitre 10 Cup semi-finals.

The full team is Moody, Coles, Franks, Retallick, Whitelock, Kaino, Todd, Read (captain) Perenara, Barrett, Julian Savea, Crotty, Lienert-Brown, Dagg and Smith.

The reserves are Taylor, Crockett, Faumuina, Squire, Ardie Savea, Kerr-Barlow, Cruden and Fekitoa.
