Contrasting performances from lightweight single sculler Matt Dunham and single sculler Robbie Manson inprogressing through to tomorrow's semi finals at the world rowing championships in Florida.

Dunham has cruised to victory in his quarter final but Manson has struggled into third place in his.

Dunham says he was able to pace himself and while he will have to put it all out there tomorrow he was able to sit on it today and drop the stroke rate a little.

Women's single sculler Hannah Osborne has finished second in her repechage to reach the semis.

The women's four meanwhile will race in the B final after finishing fourth in their repechage.
