Suspended Parramatta Eels chairman Steve Sharp has vowed to fight to his 'dying breath' to clear his name from the club's NRL salary cap scandal.
In a letter sent to all other club chairs ahead of a meeting today in Sydney, the former Eels forward has also criticised the NRL for their treatment of the club.
News Corp claims Sharp has insisted he's innocent of the issues which have engulfed the Eels, and he is determined to clear his name.
Sharp's provisional suspension means he's unable to attend the meeting himself.
