BLUESFEST AUSTRALIA 30th ANNIVERSARY

- FOUR NEW ZEALAND SIDESHOWS THIS APRIL -

NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS

One Auckland Date Announced for U.S travelling merchants of R&B Blues

THE POWERSTATION – 10 APRIL 2019 Tickets on sale now from AAA Ticketing

Bluesfest Touring and Love Police are thrilled to announce that Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats will be gracing the Powerstation stage in 2019 in what will be his first ever New Zealand show. Known as party animals on stage, Nathaniel Rateliff and the seven-piece Soul band offer a unique live performance with a front man who possesses a husky sixties styled voice with inflections of Gospel and a vibrant soulful band to support it. With a new album under their belt following a reinvention of Nathaniel’s style in 2015, this is a live performance that is not to be missed!

FLOGGING MOLLY

One Auckland Date Announced for Irish-Punk Band from L.A.

THE POWERSTATION - 12 APRIL 2019 Tickets on sale now from AAA Ticketing

Quintessential Irish-American Celtic folk/punk band Flogging Molly is leaving California this April to come and dazzle New Zealand with their wild live performance tactics. Known for their distinctive fusion of traditional Irish music and often abrasive hard-hitting punk rock, their impassioned live show has won the hearts of many Punk – Rock – Folk fans over the past two decades. Undoubtedly, they will continue in that vein playing their first ever Auckland show in 2019.

SHAKEY GRAVES

One Auckland Date Announced for Americana singer-songwriter from Texas

THE POWERSTATION - 24 APRIL 2019 Tickets on sale now from AAA Ticketing

Shakey Graves a.k.a Alejandro Rose-Garcia was born in Austin Texas to a musical family and is best-known for playing a smoky, spectral fusion of blues, folk and rock in a stripped down one-man-band style. Shakey Graves live performances can be deceiving. Up to now, he’s been categorized as an Americana singer-songwriter, thanks to his traditionally rooted songs, fluent acoustic-guitar picking, Texas roots and cowboy hat, looking like a one-man country band. But the tag will undoubtedly be dismissed as restrictive and irrelevant once discerning listeners hear his radical new album performed live in Auckland next April. TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR THESE THREE SHOWS FROM AAA TICKETING
